School Tours of York with Chris Geeson Creative Clubs

Chris Geeson Profile Picture

Welcome to my guided educational tours of York. Bring your school group to York for a fun and fact-filled walking tour!

Aimed specifically at school groups (but also appropriate for other groups of children and young people). Led by Chris Geeson – tour guide, museums’ learning facilitator, and workshop leader.

Choose from a range of topic-specific tours, with the flexibility to adapt to your group’s requirements.
All school tours include: walking to see some marvellous sights of York, as well as some of the lesser-known parts; engaging facts and stories linked to the places you will visit; frequent opportunities for interaction and QA.

All tours are aimed at KS2 or KS3 and can be adapted for your school topic requirements. (In many cases this will be at no extra charge, but please contact me about any additional costs which this might incur).

Please use the Contact Me page to discuss bookings or to ask any questions, and I’ll reply as soon as I can.

Please try to book dates with me at least a month in advance. Payment is normally after your visit, when I will send you an invoice.

Groups should ideally be up to around 30 pupils – see FAQ for details.
